Section VII: Editors Notes

The Enterprise II Class was the fifth and final variation on the Constitution Class design.  Originally called the 'Levant' Class it was re-titled following the destruction of the USS Enterprise over the Genesis planet in 2287, and the lead ship already under construction was re-named.
