Simulations are listed here in order of the Task Forces they belong to, then alphabetically within the Task Force. Your browser "Search" function can help you locate the more usual roles or a particular type of simulation (class, quadrant...). Clicking on a simulation logo will lead to its website, where the appropriate data on specific simming environment and positions is available.
Sixth Fleet's Computer Core holds a description of traditional Starfleet positions titles. There can also be found information on minimum requirements; equivalencies between enlisted - warrant officer - officer ranks and rates; comparison between Naval and Marine ranks and rates.
Most officer roles can be held by a Non Commissioned Officer provided they have reached the minimum equivalent rate/rank required. Please note that while Civilians don't hold a rank in-game, Sixth Fleet policies allow for a system of out-of-game Civilian ranks enabling all players to be promoted whatever role they hold.

The USS Cambrian is an Akira-class warship and flagship of Sixth Fleet's 3rd Battle Group. She is based out of Empok Nor near the Cardassian border, and carries an attached Marine Company as well as elements of Starfleet's 184th Tactical Fighter Wing.

The USS Pegasus (NCC-53847-D) is an Akira-class Federation starship and the current (fourth) ship to bear the title. It has recently fallen under the command of Captain Kemis after the previous CO, Captain Black, was reassigned. The Pegasus currently operates in the galactic north-west sector of the Alpha Quadrant. She is based out of Deep Space Twelve, and carries an embarked Marine Company as well as Starfleet's 17th Tactical Fighter Wing.

The USS Bismarck NCC 1108-B is a Refit Intrepid Class Starship based in the Gamma Quadrant. It is the Flagship of the Second Battle Group of the Gamma Quadrant Expeditionary Force (GQEF). Based out of the first Federation outpost in the Gamma Quadrant Starbase 836, she is tasked with a wide variety of missions.

The U.S.S. Hyperion has a vast range of missions from Science exploration to defense. Also with the U.S.S. Hyperion's vast medical technology, the U.S.S. Hyperion can be called to assist in medical situations that a regular medical ship cannot go into. With its fighter wing complement and its extra firing power, the U.S.S. Hyperion can be a force to be reckoned with. The U.S.S. Hyperion operates to further the ideals of peace, unity and cooperation, which lie at the heart of the United Federation of Planets. The U.S.S. Hyperion's home base is Deep Space 7, Atlantis station which is on the border of fhe Federation and Romulan neutral zone.
