What is a Play By e-Mail (PBeM) Game? A Play By e-Mail game is one that is played via e-mail messages, usually utilizing a list service such as Yahoogroups. As a player, you write "posts" detailing the actions of your character. These are typically written in novel form, meaning they are formatted as if they were taken from a novel. For more information on how to play, please visit Sixth Fleet Academy.

How is Sixth Fleet managed? Sixth Fleet is managed on a day to day basis by the Commander-in-Chief (CinC), who is assisted by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief (DCinC), and three Task Force Advisors, the Dean of Command School, the Academy Commandant, and the Chief of Fleet Operations (CFO). Together, these positions make up the Fleet "Senior Staff".

Who can play? Anybody, no matter how young or old, is welcome to play in Sixth Fleet with the understanding that, on occasion, content on some of our simulations may reach levels rated at "PG-13", mostly for violence or some mild language. However, though Sixth Fleet is a multinational organization, the primary language used within the fleet is English. If you are unable to write and understand English, it may prove difficult for you to enjoy what we have to offer.

How do I affiliate with Sixth Fleet? You may apply either to the Sister Fleet or Sister Simulation program by contacting our Director of Public Relations. For more information, please visit the Public Relations Department.

How do I make an application for my simulation to join Sixth Fleet? Generally, Sixth Fleet does not accept applications from independant simulations wishing to join the fleet. However, exceptions are occasionally granted, to please feel free to enquire here anyway. Exception: If your simulation was, at any time, a member of Tango Fleet RPG, you are welcome to join Sixth Fleet at any time.

How do I ask a question not answered here? You may direct questions to any member of Sixth Fleet, though the Commander-in-Chief is the primary contact for the fleet. Additionally, answers to questions not found here might be found in Memory Zeta (listed under Computer Core resources).
